Great for the money,bit required repair out of the box,o- ring was incorrectly installed on assembling…would have returned if not in dire need,but an easy fix.

Easy to swap, just dbl check both sides of carb linkage ears are the same as pictured. I did not look at both. But was able to swap the butterfly linkage from old to new and make work. Runs fine. Happy

Along with several other things I had to replace the carburetor on an old 2003 lawn mower my son left in my yard in 2011. It had set in the rain, sun and leaves since then. I am 74 with no mechanical experience or patience but I decided to make this my challenge. I looked at a few youtube videos which none had my 22hp OHV Briggs engine. Ethanol gas had dried in the fuel tank. lines and carburetor and had left gunk in all them. The motor turned freely so I knew the pistons hadn’t seized. To make a long story short I saw this carburetor on Amazon and decided to use it instead of rebuilding. That was my best decision. When I turned the new starter over the thing just cranked up. No tuning or adjustment. After the leaves burned out of the muffler the thing ran perfect. The only thing I would suggest is take your cell phone and take picture of how everything hooks up before you dissemble. I did and had on problems.

Great it got my customers Craftsman running good. I did have to modify the coke butterfly has no return spring like original. Easy fix though just use an external return spring.

Used all of the o-rings and gaskets to rebuild the original Briggs & Stratton carburetor after this one didn’t work.
The Chinese castings of the main carburetor body are defective.
