Have an older Deere 875 4×4 compact tractor. Battery kept running down so checked it out and found the alternator was crapping out. When to the local Deere dealer to get a laugh, close to $200. So then online I went and found this one on Amazon for a great price. I’ve only put about 100 hours on it so far and everything seems fine. Know how many amps you need before ordering a new alt. because some model tractors do not require as high an output as others.

simply put the alternator will not work yet it indicates it is compatible with my John Deere Model 2320 Tractor. Dissatisfied as now I am required to pay shipping to return an item that will not work on the tractor it is advertised to work on. solution, buy original John deere parts from John Deere dealer.
