This distributor is very complete cap rotor condenser points and gaskets. It fits just like the original and I would highly recommend it.

After reading many Ford forms I was trying to diagnose the random miss that was occurring with the tractor. Reading a form posted by a gentlemen that contained a video of his tractor missing (acting exactly like mine) he finally solved the problem be determining that the bushing in the distributor had enough excessive wear causing the point to not open and close properly. Note the front mount distributors have a tight points gap of .015″ to begin with. I was skeptical ordering this entire distributor for $45 and would it even be any good???
Points kit cap and rotor costs more than that at your local farm store. Well I ordered based on reviews and was happily surprised at the quality of the product out of the box. Verified points gap and timing all good, mounted it up and missing problem solved. Let’s see if she last 75 years like the original…

Perfect fit for 8n tractor. Points were correctly set came with good quality gaskets. Tractor now runs perfect.

Came on time, works great right out of the box. No adjusting needed. Other places are wanting $300 vs this one for less than $100. Best deal I could find

I installed this on my 1948 Ford 8N. It has been working flawlessly. I bought this unit in order to restore my tractor back to points and condenser. Previous owner had installed electronic ignition, and it created nothing but problems. This distributor assembly was easy to install and I haven’t had any problems with my tractor since installing it.
