Great compact unit. I was shocked how well this works for the size. I only used it one time to jump my tractor but have used it for a light and power bank to charge devices while camping.

For starters, It works, and it works very well. It’s very well made and doesn’t feel cheap at all. It also can jump my car about 5 times before getting too low and needing to recharge itself…..which is pretty much spot on with my 40 dollar one by another brand that has a much cheaper feeling housing.
For double the cost, I’m not sure that a slightly upgraded housing is worth it, but it’s hard to take off more than 1 star when it looks and feels like a premium product, like the Noco GB series, which does cost even more than this. Personally I’d stick to the cheap “under 50” versions of these, but if you want to pay a lot more for a bit more quality, this is your product.

I bought this NEBO Jump Starter after purchasing a used, but new-to-me car that right after I bought it needed to be jumped every time I turned it off before it would start again. I hadn’t been able to find the underlying issue and needed something more reliable than a set of jumper cables, or a passer-by that would lend me a jump, until I could figure out the problem and this handy little unit got the job done.
I like that the rechargeable jumper box is small and compact. Even with the jumper cables attachment, the entire unit is still much smaller than the original set of just jumper cables that I had been carting along with me everywhere. It comes with a storage bag that fits everything nicely inside, so it doesn’t take up much space at all.
The jumper box is multifunctional, and can also be utilized as an emergency quick charger for mobile phones, or technically anything that needs to be charged in a pinch, (as long as it has a type A USB end on either side) and can charge several devices at once.
Of course, being NEBO, it has a built-in, adequately bright, 100 lumen flood light that helped me collect what I needed and allowed me to maneuver everything around when I’ve needed to use the jump box at night, or in the dark. It manages to light up a good size area too
and can be seen from a distance.
The most appreciated of all the features provided by the NEBO jump box has definitely been the numerous implemented safety features… Like, the jump box starter won’t work if the positive and negative cables are not in the correct positive and negative points on the battery itself, it automatically selects the right current and is even approved by the TSA and FAA for carry-on luggage.
Overall the durable, lightweight jump starter is super cool, functional and VERY easy to use, virtually eliminating any worry for user error, which is definitely a good thing for someone like myself, lol.
I have fixed the battery issue my car was having since purchasing the NEBO jump box and no longer have to use the unit everyday, but I’ve been very pleased with it and the sense of relief knowing that I won’t need a tow, or to have to rely on someone passing by to assist me if my car’s battery ever dies again. Knowing I have access to my own, self contained, multifunctional jump starter, flashlight and multi-device charger in a tiny, compact storage bag in the trunk of my car makes me feel safer, more prepared and gives me a sense of relief knowing that whether I’m traveling the short distance from my home to work, or longer distances, that I can manage these things on my own, because I can count in the NEBO jump box to get me home. I definitely would buy this again.

Hey everyone, this charging device was the best thing to have. It was 4 degrees and I work remotely, however didn’t think of daily starting the car in the event of an emergency.
So, I decided this day (push start car) and to my surprise the car did a click. Radio, lights, doors functioning but no turnover.
I had to clean car off snow to get into the trunk and hood. Pulled out the Nebo, first time using so I needed to read instructions. Anyway, 1,2,3 points and the car instantly started. No choke, no hesitation. Life to the battery.

Well built, it took a charge and was able supply a charge to my phone and two tablets without dropping more than 1 bar.
The Phone was at 26%, the old Apple tablet was at 2%, and the Samsung was at 12%.
The USB output will stay on even with a low drain load connected, it did not shut off automatically when I used it to charge a small rechargeable lantern that only draws about 100mA on a USB port when charging.
A lot of other battery banks will turn off when trying to charge that lantern.
I haven’t had to try out the Jump Start feature yet, the car batteries are holding a charge and it has not been nice enough out to ride the motorcycles yet.
The jumper cables look well made, but are a bit short. They are long enough to work if you can get to both battery terminals at the same time, or if the ground stud on your car is within about 2 feet from the positive terminal of the battery.
On my Ford Focus, the negative ground stud is about 16 inches away from the positive terminal, and this jump starter will easily reach both of them. The negative terminal on the battery is hidden under a cover and not directly reachable.
The connector on the jump starter for the boost cables is the same as used on some high performance RC cars. This style connector holds up well to repeated connect/disconnect cycles in the RC cars, multiple times per day.
It will hold up well to an occasional connection to boost a car battery.
The battery clamps on the boost cables are well made, they have good spring tension but are not so tight that they are hard to open. The copper jaws inside the clamps are made from thick copper and have good teeth on them.
The power cable is directly connected to the jaws, with a thick jumper from one side to the other.
The ports on the box for power in, and boost and USB out have attached covers that prevent dust and dirt from entering.
The flashlight feature is nice and bright, it also has a red LED as well, this red LED has a constant on and a slow blink mode for a warning light.
This looks like a good product to keep in your car for those emergency situations that may come up.
You can jump your car, charge your phone, and have a light to change a tire or warn other drivers of a hazard.
