I build all kinds of switch panels and such. These switches i found work great for tight small areas. the light is bright at night but not intrusive. I have not had one fail in the 5 years i have been using them.

I initially had confusion with the 3 wire setup and couldn’t get the switch to work. The “negative” tab gets wired to the ground of the vehicle, not the negative battery terminal. After this, the switch worked perfectly. Only used 1 of 10 switches so far.

These are great switches and easy to install and wire. I like having the light so you know the status of the switch by looking at it. The amp rating is high enough to handle most things you might want to operate.

EXCELLENT AS THE SWITCHES LIGHT UP .
I USE THESE A LOT WHEN INSTALLING UNDER-GLOW LIGHTING AND OTHERS,
I USED THE RED LIGHT SWITCH FOR MY UNDERGLOW AS I HAVE RED LIGHTING UNDER MY UNDERBODY, AND A BLUE LIGHT SWITCH FOR MY OFFROAD LIGHTS.

Put these in place of the big switches that use your KC lights these work awesome plus you can see them at night day. Nice blue color thank you very much guys.

I was expecting 1/4” spade terminals in the back. These are much smaller and it is designed to be put into a thin panel like sheet metal.
The quality is good enough but if you’re expecting to mount them into 1/4” plexiglass, I don’t think these are for you.
They do say they are rated for 20 amp so if you need a small switch for 20a they’ll be perfect
