Was able to install quite easily on a fairly thicker headset rod without issues. Install was a breeze and was done in less than 3~4 minutes. Does require you to be able to take your headrest off though.
The charger worked fine. I didnt end up using the car charger that’s provided, but instead a USB-C one built into the car and it worked fine. Not a ULTRA FAST 100w pd charger speed per say, but still got fast charging and all.
Just be careful of the winding up speed. It’s quick and it can pop you in the face or hand if you aren’t careful.

This was easy to set up (for my husband). He had to take a knife and pry the tabs back slightly to get the ball joint to insert. We couldn’t get it in with just brute force. Once that was done- set up in the car was easy! There is a long USB-C cord that extends and plugs into the included charging adapter. I inserted that into my charger port and there is still a USB end open to insert another cord to use in the front seat (not included) if you wish. The gadget has both a USB-c and a lightening cord so it can charge 2 devices simultaneously. My daughter used it on our drive to school this morning and said it worked great. It fit snugly on one of the bars on the raised headrest. We will be using this a lot and I ordered another for the other seat!

Well no more struggling with chargers that don’t reach to the back seat. My two sons sometimes get upset when they run out of charge in tier tablet, and they can’t use while it’s charging. I always tried to keep it that way because they would break the cables quite often. Sometimes damaging the port even. I think it can also pose a danger to them since it is producing current that raises the temperature of the battery and device. This item helps us out in more ways than one. I still make sure they have a full charge before we hit the reaps and they pick up the tablet. Just to avoid an accidental cable break, or any type of electrical failure. Great item, at a great price.

Love the concept of the product. I like that the cables retract and extends with ease. The length of the cables are perfect. After a few uses of pulling and retracting it never failed. Fits on back of the head rest very snug, had no problem installing. The ball joint is very tight so you don’t have to worry about movement or the product “vibrating” . One of my issues with product is the limited flexibility of the charger. The power cable requires a C charging port which most cars do not have, thus it forces you to use the cigarette lighter charger. Depending on where the cigarette lighter charger is will determine the placement of the charging station. If your vehicle has a 3rd row this will only work if you have a plug in, in the rear back of vehicle, otherwise the cord will not reach.

This is pretty cool. I thought it was good solution to allow me to have chargers for my backseat passengers. I quickly realized that the way it attaches it to the headrest makes it inconvenient for the front passengers.
Here’s my rating scale for products:
1 Star: Regret ordering due to serious flaws/product failure.
2 Stars: I wouldn’t order again because product is subpar.
3 Stars: Not my personal preference. I’d choose an alternative product if I could but this is ok.
4 Stars: Recommend ordering. This product met my expectations.

For how large this thing is I wish the cables were longer. Very good idea though and works well in the mini van for long trips. Especially if you don’t have USB ports or charging ports in the second and third row. The cable to the unit is a good length though. Good unit all together.

This backseat car charger is perfect for those backseat passengers that need to charge their device(s). The cords are long enough to where the device(s) can be used without any issues. Just make sure that your car has a USB-C port for the main charging cable or obtain an appropriate adapter for your car.

In order to attach this charging unit to your headrest post, you need to insert the holder ball into the station socket and then tighten a nut around it. After 20 minutes of trying to push the ball into the socket, cutting myself on it when my hand slid off from pressing so hard, trying to hit it in with a hammer, even when held in place by a vise, I gave up. To make things worse, on the socket part has two hard locking wires for the headrest right where you have to press so the harder you press, the more injury you cause to the palm of your hand. It would be WAY better if this was available with the ball already in the socket and just requires you to tighten the nut at the angle you need. Had high hopes for this, but it is going back ASAP.
