I have this in my 2011 A4 with the 2.0t. The level indicator works perfectly for this motor. The pull ring on this however, presses against the hood. I had to modify this so that the ring was cut and no longer hit the hood when closed. The hood would close without the modification, however I did not see a reason to leave pressure on it, as if the part damages the plastic tube that it sits in, it would cause an oil leak. Good part, with small modification it fits perfectly.

Fits an Audi Q5 perfectly. Reading some of the lower rating reviews before purchase, especially the lower ratings I was cautious to buy.
Hood/Bonnet closes without any issue, so this oil dipstick works and fits perfectly, as it should. Now I no longer need to believe the dash sensor that appears to be defective (shows no oil sometimes). Great value as well, since Audi and other third parties are charging almost 3 times the cost of this oil dip-stick.
With this product I can now go back to the old way of checking to see if I need to add oil.
The only critique is to make the writing on the metal to be more visible.

I don’t trust “the cloud”. Or just in time food delivery. Or municipal electricity. Or water. Or quickee oil change emporiums. Or the electronic oil level on my wife’s 2018 Porsche Macan.
Recently bought one of these dipsticks for the Porsche Macan with 2.0 turbo. This dipstick fits perfectly and it’s oil level exactly agrees with the electronic oil level display in the dashboard menu. NOW I can have at least some trust in the electronic oil level indication. And it makes it easy to occasionally check the color/cleanliness of the oil rather than have to insert one of the tubes from the oil extraction pump.
Don’t know if the hood closes on this dipstick when it is inserted as I don’t plan on leaving it in the engine. Will keep reinserting the factory plug after the dipstick is withdrawn.

Bought this dipstick for my car as it as relatively highly rated and was supposed to be a direct fit. I installed it and went to check my oil immediately after and the tip broke off and fell inside the engine. The rubber oring that seals out contaminants crumbled into pieces out of the box. Don’t even bother ordering this hunk of crap unless you can afford a new engine

Fit really well in my Audi 2011 A4. It gave me the accurate measurement. I feel that it is little expensive. One thing is that u can’t keep the stick dipped otherwise u won’t able to close the hood. If u want to close the hood and keep the stick in the engine then u need to cut the top into half. But overall I am satisfied as it solved my purpose of accurate measurement.

At the price point it’s a great option, but if you are rough on dipsticks I would avoid this one as it feels like it is going to break super easy and the handle portion is some of the cheapest plastic I have ever felt. It didn’t fit the rig I ordered it for as well so you’ll want to double check compatibility.

Fits a 2012 Audi Q5. It doesn’t hit the hood when you close. It seems deep enough to measure the oil. I do notice the markings are a little faint but it’s to be expected for an aftermarket tool. It seems to be sturdy so hopefully it lasts! After a few uses, the markings don’t match what the car oil level says. It looks like the oil is slightly lower than what the dip sticks actually shows.

I use it to measure oil level for 2018 Macan base 2.0 and the results match the electronic measurements.
It is convenient that I can measure the level without warm up the car.
It won’t fit under the engine cover, so I keep it out and use it only when I need to do a measurement.
