The computer and wiring harness were trash on my ’88 Dodge D150 so I took the cheap way out, replacing the distributor with an earlier model and adapting an Autolite 2150 carb to the throttle body intake.
Of course, as my old buddy Wooley always says, “Every solution creates a new problem.” And that problem was in adapting the Dodge throttle and kick-down cables to a Ford carb.
With the use of aftermarket cables and by grinding roughly 1/8″ off the Mr Gasket bracket at the round hole I was able to make it work.
Why 4 stars instead of 5? I wish the bracket was made of slightly heavier materials but it does the job.

This may seem daft, but some instructions or even a picture would have helped. For a good bit, I was upset thinking it would not fit on my carb and many others. However after poking around on Google, I discovered I was simply being a bonehead about it. Sure I admit it was my fault, but that could have been avoided by simply including the original packaging.

quick service, also it has provisions for 2 different passing gear cable fittings, very sturdy built, will have to be fitted to bolt on to the back of q-jet carb, bot as far as holley or other carb i see no problem. i will buy more for engine builds……
