  1. Project Ariesse

    Fits perfect with my 2004 F150 XLT 5.4L 4×4 with 140,000 miles.

I have been using an OBD II software thru my iPhone via a bluetooth OBD II adapter to regularly monitor the health status of my truck. Lately I started to notice some bucking and acceleration issues and the software showed erratic readings on my upstream sensors and consistent zero voltage readings on both my downstream sensors. The fuel trims are also running rich (-12 to – 21) from time to time. The MPG readings are also down to 11.5 MPG average with a 20inch offroad wheels and 35inch mud tires.

I first checked and ruled out vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, and no misfire readings on all cylinders. Spark plugs are 5 months old and COPs are 1 month old.

About a week ago, I disconnected the battery overnight and the next morning I changed the upstream sensors. I did the PCM relearn procedure running 35 miles (city and highway) for 30minutes. Although the truck experienced a bit of performance gains, the MPG just increased by .5 MPG.

When the downstream sensors arrived today, I did the same install and relearn procedure and ran the truck for 101 miles combined with city and higway driving. The truck runs much better with great acceleration and now reading an average of 14.2MPG. Also, fuel trims are back to normal and STFT and LTFT are both running within +/- 10 readings. The downstream voltage readings are back to .6 average where it should be.

This confirms that the downstream Oxygen sensors have an impact to my truck’s performance and MPG. Some say that it does not have impact but it did on mine.

I purchased the 4L3Z-9G444-AA (DY-992) and it was an exact fit for my 2007 F-150 STX 4×4 downstream oxygen sensor. Customers should be aware that the connectors are color coded and these are purple colored connectors which will only fit into the purple connector in the vehicle’s wiring harness. In my vehicle the upstream are grey and the downstream are purple.
I purchased the DY-835 (XL3Z-9F472-AA) with the grey connectors from another website since they did not appear to be offered here.
Avoid some frustration and check the color of your connectors before ordering these.

Can’t say how happy I am to get an oem part that meets or exceeded my expectations.

  7. Mcluvinet23

I installed this O2 while laying on my gravel driveway. The install way a breeze and the sensor solved the problem as indicated by the OBD2.

  8. Adele

Exact fit and works great for my 2007 ford f150 .

The first pair lasted Me 2 years, hopefully the second pair lasted a little longer.

  10. Kindle Customer

Complete garbage item. Installed it shortly after receiving the order and didn’t work from the start. Had me think there was something else wrong besides the sensor but come to find out after swapping it with the other side the code follows the sensor.
