Replaced my 2011 MKX oil cap just fine. Fit was a tad snug compared to the 13 year old one it replaced by I suppose that’s a good thing.

It fits into the 4.0L Mustang V6 valve cover. Much cheaper than a genuine Ford part. Good quality.

my 2004 escape oil fill cap was stripped.it looked good and thought it was the Valve cover but this cap fits perfect and tight

The reason for the purchase was not as a replacement, it worked perfect for that.
My purpose was to modify, I drilled a hole through the cap and attached a funnel. Once in place I am able to more confidently pour the many quarts needed during oil changes

It snapped off inside the filler neck and had to dig it out in pieces. Very poor construction. Just cheaply made. Buy Oem.
