I was having an issue with my quad.
Changing that part fixed my intermittent shifting issue. Wich is a relieve

This product did not work. The picture shows a metal insert which was missing on the one I recieved.Rendered my Honda ATV undriveable. Will be returning.
Andrew –
Didn’t completely fix my problem but seems to be shifting as well or better than with the stock part. Seems to be a great part for the price.
FamOf8 –
Installed it to fix a shifting problem. Worked well, machine shifts perfect now!
Brad –
Perfect fit and fix for a rancher having shifting issues.
Grant –
Good price for a quality product.

Bought it for my 2002 Honda foreman 450es because it was shifting hard and if I went too fast it would lock in gear. Puting this sensor in fixed all my problems. Located directly on frontside of motor above starter.
Jamie –
product looks good but the resistance values for the shift up and down were all over the place. nowhere near what the Honda service steps specs are. i measure 3 or 4 times up and down but the numbers were never consistent from the last.
i may try to find an OEM sensor and validate it
Jamie –
Looked used and had dust and grime on it

Fixed my shifting problem with my 2002 Honda TRX450 FE. The problem i had was that it wouldn’t want to shift sometimes and at other times it would flash the gear i was in on the display and it wont let me shift unless I restart the quad.
