Kayla Riley –
Installed in a 71 CT70 and died about about 13 months (and about 150 miles) of use. Will look to source one elsewhere.

The reviews I read were pretty accurate. I removed the rubber pads that the gas tank sits on( then later just reglued). I was able to use a 4.5” grinder and remove some of the “tabs” that the tank sits on.I didn’t remove enough to break the spot welds.
This allowed more room for my hand to reach the mounting nuts. I ordered a 13” , 10mm, extension ratchet wrench and could reach the mounting hardware from the opening where the air filter goes. Used a rat tail file to widen the bolt holes ( they don’t quite line up). After all, I got good spark. I can’t speak to how long it will last.

Quality useful product

This new coil, The spark plug cable comes out the top of the housing causing the housing to rest against the gas tank mount. The original coil the cable comes out the side, no clearance issues. Not sure if this will be an issue down the road. Should be ok.
Mike Paris –
This worked on both a 1972 and 1981 Honda CT70.
S. Mason –
This coil is not an exact fit for a CT70. The coil is too tall and hits the fuel tank support mount. I had to bend (with a hammer) the coil frame to clear
Casey –
The first coil only sparked a few times then died. The company quickly replaced it. I haven’t had a chance to try the new one yet.
Update. New coil works great on my 1970 Honda ct70h
