Within 2 months this device started malfunctioning, causing the gas pedal to not work and engine to shake, and giving errors they caused the check engine light to come back on. While I don’t think you necessarily need to buy the genuine Ford part for $159, I recommend buying a different brand of this part that is higher quality with more reviews, such as the Bosch version listed around $35 to $45 dollars. Unfortunately it was too late to return this part.

I bought this to replace a possible defective fuel pressure sensor. Installed it, started my vehicle, got a code right off the bat. Fuel rail pressure is very high, possible damage to fuel system. I put my old one back in and the code cleared. Don’t buy it.

Don’t bother trying to save a dollar. It worked for 2 weeks then threw code saying it was defective. cheap stuff ain’t good and good stuff ain’t cheap

It’s been a week and the check engine light has stayed off for fuel rail pressure sensor. I believe it will stay off and am happy to purchase the cheapest senor that so far has worked just fine.. That being said, I would not hesitate to buy a cheaper one with good reviews if doing this again.

Fixed the problem
