Definitely cheaper and flimsier than the OEM. The boot wasn’t as good so I removed the boot from the original and installed it on this one.
One gripe is the wire colors. Factory connector for front left on Golf MK7 is black and brown, this connector is black and red. I assumed black to black, red to brown. That’s actually backwards. It needs to be black to red and brown to black. Swapped them and the circuit error code went away instantly.
