Easy to install, and they ride good, but its been only 2 years, 15k miles and the boot has rips in it already… i should of just stuck with OEM. Selling the car soon so don’t care anyways. Maybe they will still last?! hopefully.

2009 RAV4 ride an improvement! The SUV feels new again. No more squeezing noise. Very pleased with Monroe! I would give it 5 stars, but package does not deserve 5 stars. Obviously, carriers throw boxes and crush boxes. That is always an issue with ordering online. Monroe has always produced an excellent quality strut and shock. The SUV performs must better. I installed both front structs and rear shocks. I also installed MOOG sway bars. MOOG is a great product also. Great Price!

I bought these for my Toyota Rav 4, because I could not find the KYB equivalent (out of stock). Should have waited a little longer for KYB. OK strut/spring kit, but not appropriate for ”off road” conditions.

These bolted right up to my 2006 RAV4, V6, 4×4. All the mounting points were right on, to include where the plastic retaining clip snaps in for the brake line. Quality product. My old struts were completely shot (140k miles). I didn’t measure beforehand, but I feel like my front end is sitting up maybe a 1/2″ higher. Ride quality is great now, an enormous improvement over the worn out stock struts. The convenience of not having to compress the springs was well worth the added cost.

I purchased the left and right struts for my 2008 Toyota Rav4. Following along a couple of YouTube videos and a few basic hand tools I was able to install them without much issue.

What utter pieces of garbage! I now have just over ten thousand miles on these Monroe quick struts and the ride And handling is Far Far worse than the factory struts were at 135,000 miles. If I hit a bump in mid corner the whole vehicle porpoises and wobbles in an unsafe manner. In fact hit any bump and the whole vehicle bounces several times before settling down. I Would NEVER but another product from this company. In fact I would not take them if they were given to me for free with a fifty dollar cash incentive to install these pieces of trash. Spend a bit more and get the KYB’s, you’ll be glad that you did.

I am not a mechanic. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to install. Picked up some loner tools for parts store and PB blaster. Good floor Jack and stand made install go off without a hitch. The struts come ready to install. About 3 hours start to finish both sides. These struts feel like driving a new car. No more swaying or nose diving when hitting the brake hard. I will buy again for daughter’s car. I saved over $1100 doing this myself.
