I would have returned this item, but by the time I had it installed and taken back to the shop a few times to figure out the issue it was too late for me to return. The one placed on the drivers side creeks and groans; mechanic finally decided the issue was with the part itself. After dealing with it for a few months finally ordered a replacement.

Just finished installing, changed front and back on 2011 Kia Sorento LX 4 cylinder. There is no left and right front struts – it has been engineered with an extra flange on either side for the way bar link to attach. I was skeptical when I ordered( also checked the Monroe web site and this is what they suggested too.) When I first tried to fit the strut the top and bottom fit just fine but the sway bar link bolt did not want to fit through. I thought it was the wrong fit. I took it off the strut thinking I would send them back. I went to bed, during the night it occurred to me why it did not fit- the paint and clear coat. I took a rasp, lightly took the paint off and the bolt fit perfectly snug.

Perfect fitment on my 2011 Kia Sorento 2.4 FWD. Installation wasn’t that bad, you just need to have the right tools. First time long due changing this for first time. I use Milwaukee 1/2 stubby, which makes everything easier. I changed the rear shocks as well with the same brand. Take your time and don’t rush things, install everything as goes and torque everything to spec. Quality of part looks and feels like or better than OEM, the car ride as new. Would definitely buy this brand again if needed.
