Used these to replace stock struts on a 2013 Dodge Journey SXT AWD 3.5L with 75k miles after I blew them out on Hell’s Backbone Road in southern Utah. I have changed oil, brakes, simple things, but never a significant mechanical part of a vehicle. Watched a couple youtube videos, ordered these online at a SERIOUS savings to buying at any chain parts store. These quick struts are simple to pop right in place of the stock struts – not painless… as there are plenty of things that will leave your knuckles bleeding in that area of a car, but a project anyone with common sense, a little mechanical inclination, and the right tools (recommend an air-gun and impact sockets or a 2 foot+ breaker bar) can do. The ride after is significantly better than stock, took the wallowing water buffalo-like ride quality right out of my wife’s Journey. Between new shocks and better load rating tires, it now has roughly the same handling as my Accord (not a bad achievement for an SUV). Highly recommend these, would definitely buy again (but I suspect I wont have to for a long long time).

Amazon stated that this would not fit 2012 Journey. Contacted Monroe, they said it was compatible. It fit fine, however, the quick strut assembly did not have any Monroe markings on the item. There was a Monroe sticker on the .box

Not too hard to put on if you are mechanicaly inclined. Must have an impact gun and socket. I took off by hand and took me twice as long. They were stiff at first as new is always. After a 120 mile trip they were much better ride. Yes I would recommend these premium struts.
