Easy to install just double check your clearance points. Thet come with spacers if you need to add clearance. They added lift to my truck when it’s loaded down. Helps keep the springs from over bending when I have a heavy load. I would have given them a 5 star rating but the air supply kit is very cheap quality and the air line could be a few feet longer. The shocks in the picture shows a white color but mine were black. No big deal but if your hopong for white shocks you might be disappointed. Over all they do the job and are a good price.

I ordered a the same shocks about a year ago, didn”t have car road ready so when i finally put them on ,had multiple line leaks that i finally got sealed. I had one shock that leaked where line went in, that continually leaked,was going to change to copper fittings, but they arent standard threads, and counldn’t find anything metric to fit. Since i had originals over a year , could not return them, I ordered a new set and they work ok. I think Monroe should include a metal line kit versus the plastic one that comes with the shocks

1 of the nice things about these shocks is they come with instructions so if You haven’t had air shocks b4 the instructions tell You how to use the spacer and special nut . they are just plain old good shocks PERIOD

I found a similar review of someone trying to attach these to a Dodge A-body, so I went with them. They came with a bushing to go on each side to push the shocks away from the body and gas tank, and both work perfectly. There’s not much on the bottom of my 1968 Dodge Dart for routing, so I moved the air lines directly into the trunk, and put the fill valve on the block the trunk lid closes onto, so the fill valve is hidden inside. These work great, and the ride is nice at lower psi’s (30-50) but at 60-80 I start getting a considerable lift and the rear end turns very stiff. You feel everything. These work great for on the fly switching. I am also utilizing an on board air compressor system to push these.
I should also make note, the monroe’s I received are black. Solid black, not white like in the picture, but everything was correct, so if you’re going for a visual style where the shocks are going to be white, beware, because they are not.

When I first pulled these out of the box and compared them to the existing shocks on the rear of my 65 Barracuda I was worried if there would be enough clearance, these are much bigger in diameter and in my application there is only an inch clearance between the shock and the gas tank. There was no way the much wider Monroe air shocks were going to fit. But the engineers at Monroe had this covered! The shocks came with a special upper mount spacer and special nut that when used moved the upper mounting location out just enough to make the proper clearance, it worked perfect and they were easy to use. Awesome!!
