Install on a E450 van cutaway 24ft with 215thous rides like it only has 50thous smooth, didnt know if the coil springs would make it to stiff,no just a great ride, mim roll & stopping better. Did change front out with Monroe too.

I just put these on my 2002 E350 Super Duty, as you can see from the pic the old shocks were shot. These new ones are high quality, and VERY BEEFY. They went on pretty easy, and gave me about an inch or so of added lift. The ride has improved tremendously, I am very happy with these new shocks. Plus the current price on Amazon is ridiculously cheap for a shock of this caliber. These are much nicer than an other brand in this price range.

The shocks are great. Monroe includes the necessary bushing kit, but make sure the part numbers match for each. I had to request the correct kit from Tenneco’s customer service which added a few days to my install.

Very stabilizing. Life is full of ups and downs. Traversing alone in my van, these ups and downs seemed more drastic. I felt very unstable. Around every corner, it seemed as though I’d never be completely upright again. Things were very turbulent, and this was worst in the darkness of what seemed pointless meandering on long, cold nights. Every bump in life seemed to be an intense, never ending up or down.
After seeking some help, and utilizing these, my voyage is much more stable. The ups aren’t as drastic, nor are the downs. The twists and turns aren’t as disorienting, either. These definitely help keep me on a more even plateau whether I’m working or playing.

Installed on my cube van that runs loaded with equipment, makes a big difference in handling over stock

Fits E250 van. Use for work and always carrying a load.

#1, I think if you’re only packing 1 shock rather than a set like most shocks that should be abundantly clear. They are not.
#2 don’t discard the old parts you remove. These don’t include all the hardware you need to install them.
#3 These have powerful springs and in most cases even if you jack up the RV and let the axle hang without the wheels. You’ll still need to jack on the shock to collapse it a inch or 2 to connect the bottom mounting bolt. It takes some finesse.
This is not a set of shocks, it’s 1 shock.
We’ll see how they preform then we’ll edit this.

Amazon stated these will not fit my 1988 Ford E-350, but they fit and are easier to install then a new set of leaf springs. I did have to use another jack to compress the coil over shock a little to get it to go into place, even with the rear axle hanging, but I load the heck out of this thing, and it now sits level loaded, and gives me a little more ground clearance. I used to drag the trailer hits all of the time on slight slopes, like driveways and entrances/exits to stores. Not any more, I have an added inch witch made more of a difference than I thought it would. The new shocks also make the ride more stable, the vehicle is not bouncing around like the 1984 movie “Uncle Buck”.

I was nervous about these being too stiff for my van. I have a 2007 e350 quigley extended, and the majority of the reviews are from class c owners. I usually run with several hundred pounds in the back and a roof top tent nearly all behind the rear axle. The ride improvement was noticeable and not harsh at all. It only raised the rear around an inch. The installation was a little more difficult because of the brackets that quigley welds in to compensate for the lift blocks. After having to cut the old shocks out with a grinder, the install was a breeze. As others have said, you will need 2 jacks.
