When I got this I went out to my vehicle just to make sure it worked, and the lights i purchased. All tested just fine. On the dash I used a dremel to cut out a hole to install the rocker switch. Make it look factory and all. I am still working out how to attach the fog lights to my vehicle. Installation is pretty simple if you can read and have a little electrical common sense. Will buy again.

let me start with my 2 small flaws. First is the wires from the leads to the battery are bit short(used on my quad) and the eye lids that connect to the batter are way to large. If this is designed for a car/truck/jeep I cant see any of the wires reaching the length of the vehicle. Second flaw is the lip for the switch to mount to the vehicle is extremely thin. I am very worried it being my quad bouncing around and exposed to the elements. inside a vehicle likely be better but still way to small if it gets knocked around a lot. I used marine grade adhesive and i hope that works.
Besides this the set is amazing. Wires are thicker then I expected and insulated very well. Comes with the connectors to crimp for quick release and easy install. At first I did not like the fact that the switch lights up all the time. For now I keep it unplugged unless I am ridding. The leads are small which made fishing them very easy. That includes switch.

All and all I was able to make this Harness work for my needs, however there is definitely a lack forsight about the overall proportions of this harness.
Pros:
-Wiring gauge is actually pretty good at 14~16AWG and there is more than enough wire for the majority of the kit to be installed without modification.
– properly heatshrinked throughout, including the connection to relay.
– Saved me a ton of time building a full harness and wiring the relay, switch, etc.
Cons:
– Wiring to the actual lights was completely disproportionate and too short to reach the passenger side ditch light by a mile. I had to make my own additional “pig-tails” in order to connect harness to lights, and make this kit work. It took about 2 feet of wire, some additional connectors, and soldering the connection. Which thankfully I already had the needed supplies on hand. There is however almost too much wire length from the relay circuit to the driver side light plug. So without adding anything, if the manufacturer were to adjust where this length is spliced than the kit would be perfect.
-Wiring the switch, I didn’t follow the directions at all, as this would have resulted in the switch light being on all the time as others have noted. I actually used a different switch that fit in my tacoma perfectly, and wired it so that it functions with the interior dinner circuit as it should. The instructions for wiring this are very generic and seem to be written to accommodate a few different iterations of the harness. Not very helpful, and thankfully the interwebs has plenty of data on this kind of thing.
All in all the harness worked, but required waaaay to much ingenuity to figure out for such a simple application. Happy wiring!

Used it to wire my 180w single row light bar and the kit is great. Only reason I didn’t put five stars is the cable length to the interior switch isn’t very long and the power and ground to the lights arent separated much(like the cables between the first and second light)

This is a quality wiring harness. I installed 5 LED light bars on my Go Rhino Sport Bar 2.0 and I needed something that would handle the high amp draw of that many lights. The wiring is very heavy duty and the connectors are very solid. I love the rocker switch that comes with the kit. Didn’t like that the LED on the switch stays on all the time, but was an easy fix by removing the ground cable for the switch LED. Will most likely be wiring the switch light into my dash lights to avoid any battery drain. Overall, very satisfied with this wiring harness. Mictuning products are very high quality. Can’t beat the price either.

The wiring harness worked great. It is heavy duty. I have some 90 watt led lights right now and plan on upgrading the lights in the next year to more powerful lights. I won’t have to swap out the wiring harness because it will handle the extra wattage. Everything arrived as promised and in great shape. The light on the rocker switch stays on all the time. Probably because it is getting power directly and not through a switched ignition key 12 volt power wire.

This is a review for the two lead version of the wiring harness. Harness was wrapped end to end, switch lead/pigtail has a connector, I had to cut it off to get it through the firewall. I installed this two lead wiring harness on a 2016 Silverado HD, I mounted the relay in front of the fuse box and ran the light leads down behind the headlights then across the lower air dam. I installed my lights on each side of the front license plate (see photo) and I had plenty of length to wire up both lights, I had to roll up about 1.5 feet of excess wire on the farthest light. From the relay I ran the wire back through the hood latch grommets and then used a long thin straight screw driver to penetrate the main firewall grommet, in order to get the wire through the penetration I had to cut off the connector and taped the wire harness to a 6″ long 1/4″ drill bit to and pushed it through the hole in the grommet. Once I pulled it through I re-attached the connector and connected it to the switch lead. I had enough length to run it to the center console near the existing accessory switches with a bit of wire left over. Wire gauge is nice size and the power lead is fused. I tapped the trailer running lights 20AMP fuse cold side for power using a fuse tap I picked up at AZ. I would recommend this product.
