元々使っていたマグアイアーズが無くなりかけたため、追加購入しました。
元々の販売時の紙パッケージは剥ぎ取られ、漏れても良いように紙ウエスとチャック付きビニール袋が段ボールに入れられて届きました。漏れ出している程の固形ワックスは、缶の中でもぐちゃぐちゃで、うまく使えるかかなり自信がありません。おそらく使えません。
ウエスでグルグル巻きで到着した際には梱包の状況が分かる様、写真を撮っておいたので、販売者に
「漏れていると分かっていて送るのはどうかと思う」と連絡した所、「発送センターのした事なので分かりません。送付の状況の確認の出来る写真も必要ありません。半額返金で対応させて貰います」とのことでした。
良いと分かっている品物が、使えない状態で届くのは切ないものです。
返金を断った所、写真を見ると言うことでしたが、アマゾンのメッセージセンターからの送信の仕方も分からず、こちらにあげます。
現物を扱わない販売形態に文句もありませんが、到着までの責任を放棄する理由にしてはならない。と思います。
返金で納得する人もいれば、まともな商品が欲しい人もいて、どうするのか選択肢は購入者が決めるべきではないでしょうか。

I am by no means a detailer, or close to a professional. Just a law student TIRED of having to pay someone $40 to wash and wax my BMW every few months (not the mention those weekly $10 car washes…..). Its expensive, and I would always wind up complaining because I found things not done properly.
So I took matters into my own hands.
Ordered the whole Meguiar’s kit – shampoo, wash mitt, this wax, and tire spray. $30 – it should all last me about 6 months. A dirt cheap bargain compared to what I was paying before.
TIPS:
At first I was bummed because I could not find the applicator pad – Its underneath the lid…. and a PITA to get out.
Dip the pad into the jar of wax, and apply to a CLEAN (i.e freshly washed and dried car). The best way to describe it would be: Imagine you are apply sun lotion to a beautiful woman – you want to be gentle. Apply it evenly, and not too thick. As it dries it will leave a thin haze over the paint so you can see what you have covered and what you haven’t. If you over applied the haze will be very thick… under applied and the haze will be very thin – you will learn as you go.
The only damage over applying can do is to your wallet, as you will use product faster! Don’t under apply because then your cars paint will be exposed in some places before others!
Meguiar’s says the job is best done in the shade – but its fine to do it in the sun. Just be aware that the product will dry much faster, and the drier it gets the more work you must put in buffing it off!
Once the car has been full dressed, start buffing in the direction you applied (so where you start has had the most time to dry).
ONLY ONLY ONLY use a MICROFIBER TOWEL, NOTHING ELSE. To be safe – make sure the towel is NEW or Freshly washed!
If there is grit in the towel, you will damage the paint when you buff the wax.
When buffing, you don’t have to be very gentle. But don’t buff so hard as to remove the wax completely – as soon as it the paint becomes glossy (haze gone) STOP waxing that spot. Move on to others.
I found it best to buff parts of the car at a time (i.e door by door, trunk, hood, roof) rather than going at it all at once. This helps you not forget a spot.
My BMW is cherry red, and the day after the wax I drove it into town with my family – SO MANY thumbs up and comments about how good it looked… even the Valet was like WOW. Someone even asked if I had the car repainted – and when i told them I did it myself, they asked how much I charged (Lol!).
ANYBODY can do this! Just have time and patience, the car will come out fantastic, and you will be saving a LOT of money!.

My first choice of paste wax on cars since I started using it over a decade ago. Helps to maintain a nice shine on my car(s) and will last for several months. If you apply this wax, then allow it to be on the car for a week or two before the next wash, then use a hydrophobic spray on product like P&S Bead Maker, the paint will repel water, making beads for maybe up to four months. Using this with one application of P&S Bead Maker is useful over winter when it’s more challenging to wash and wax regularly. If you wash every two to three weeks, applying P&S Bead Maker each time, you’ll have an amazing finish for at least six months.

The Meguiars car wax its one of the best wax, that I have ever used. I have try different types of wax, but nothing gets the job done, like Meguiar’s its awesome. I can’t say for anyone. But I’m satisfied. And anything for Meguiar’s I would rather use then any other product. No streaks. Easy On Easy off. What more could you ask for. My 2020 black jeep cherokee. For my first attempt, I’d say it turned out alright. Meg’s gold class carnauba is easy to apply and forgiving enough that anyone can use it. It contains enough for multiple uses (2-3 I’d guess) and even comes with a foam applicator pad inside the container. The only complaint I have is that it’s not really hydrophobic. Obviously it’s no ceramic, but I hardly noticed any difference before and after application. Regardless, it gives me a little peace of mind to know there’s an extra layer of protection that should last a few weeks. And like any good ole wax, it leaves a good, warm glossy finish and really makes the red pop on my Challenger. Will be applying again soon.

Use this 2 times per year, once in the spring after using a cleaner wax and once in the fall to prepare for winter conditions. The spring application is to help washing the car which is done with water and a pressure washer. The dirt and bugs just flow off with little effort. Using just water keeps the wax in great condition. I want to be sure to protect the finish from bugs in the summer and this has worked well for years on many different cars. It seems to hold up well and is easy to apply and remove. I believe this is a great product and plan to continue to use for many years.

Wax I have used for years and recommended by the “showroom” and “dealer”. Stays shiny and protective for, in my case, about six (6) months.
Good on with ease and can be a tad work to remove to buff if left one for too long.
The price you pay for good protection.

This is the best wax. I use it on my classic car and my new truck to protect them both from the outdoor elements. It’s the only wax I will ever use.
