I was happy that I was able to find 4 in a pack for such a cheap price. The auto stores price for one is what it cost me for all and they work great. My car is running like a champ.

Over the past year, my ’04 prius (205k miles) has been getting occasional “cylinder misfires” recorded by the computer. I use an OBDii sensor in combination with an app called Torque to see this information. These faults are not significant enough to produce a “check engine” light. My ’03 Matrix (225k miles) had a similar issue until one day the coil on the number 1 cylinder failed. Replacing all the coils on the Matrix, eliminated all its misfires.
After replacing all the coils on the Prius with these from MaySpare, I’d hoped to eliminate all the misfires, but it has not (the misfires are still occurring in the same manner as before). As far as I can tell , the MaySpare coils are working fine and the cause of the misfire issue lies elsewhere. Given the age of the original coils, it was worth changing them, but I’ll hang onto the originals should one of the MaySpares fail.
