addressed a few of my exhaust & emissions codes.
these are DELICATE
make sure you know what you’re doing/how to do it before hand. I dont mean that you need to become a skilled mechanic in order to replace this part , anyone could service their MAF on their own with little to no mechanical knowledge, skill or expertise. HOWEVER..do touch the inner glass slide with the 2 tiny wires…this part is extremely sensitive & is responsible for communicating with your vehicle the quality of the air going through your engine & thus, the engine responds accordingly… wrong reading can & will lead to a host of issues that span the length from this sensor through the engine, exhaust.,etc. this is how your vehicle runs or doesnt run – is running healthily & properly or is running poorly & damagingly based on the readings that this sensor feeds to the ECM which tells it how much fuel needs to be mixed with the air to achieve the required specs for it to run… any reading that isn’t getting a proper parameter report due to this sensor being either dirty, malfunctioning, or broken, could eventually ruin your whole engine from many things but most importantly – an engine running overly rich or lean.
this addressed quickly my engine air to fuel ratio being incorrect & my engine running considerably sluggish & consumed far too much fuel…
