- Function: A mass air flow sensor calculates the oxygen flowing to your engine for the ideal air-to-fuel ratio and helps to increase engine efficiency by doing so. The engine throttle opens when you press on the gas, allowing more air to flow around the hot wire. An electronic chip and PCM work with the airflow signal to calculate how much fuel needs to be injected. This measurement helps keep the air to fuel ratio at the optimal level and gas mileage at as bay.
- Features: Precision manufactured and assembled sensing elements are used to accurately measure air flow and restore a vehicle’s original drivability; Qualified equipment and state-of-the-art testing, coupled with 100% rigorous quality inspection, ensures an impeccable customer experience; Fast response time and durability; Lightweight and portable, easy to install and clean, and directly replaceable.

Multiple errors and fault conditions – avoid this product. See error codes in new screenshot. I did an air filter replacement that was needed, not expecting it to change the problems with this part and it did not. So, decided to update this review.
Drop in replacement for original on my 2013 Subaru Outback. See pictures for MAF output from ODBII tool and side by side pictures of old and new. Saw other reviewer mentioning that it worked for a week and then went into the toilet. Mine has been in the car about that long and not had any issues, will keep one I replaced with me should it suffer similar fate. Have no reason to believe it is going to have problems, but I often travel for work so having the original part with me means if it does go bad, I won’t be at the mercy of it. Original one was fine, just 145K miles and wanted to see if replacing it would improve cars performance or gas mileage.

This product although said manufactured for the said vehicle only worked for a month before the same problem occurred again. I have since purchased the OEM Subaru part and has been working flawlessly

This is garbage. It’s the third time I’ve bought something always happens with the package or the piece is damaged as well as the seller and the people who make the deliveries are not professionals and have no experience

I’d ordered the MAP sensor on September 28, the estimated arrival time was for October 23 through November 14. Th estimated arrival time was changed to October 13 and that when it arrived. It for my wife’s 2014 WRX, it’s the correct one and the proformance of her car improved immediately. I’m satisfied and it was worth what I paid.

I purchased this to replace a sensor that was intermittently throwing a code every 50 to 100 or so miles although engine performance was fine. This replacement threw the same code twice within the first 15 miles and the engine ran roughly and idled worse. I put the old one back in. Engine performance returned to fone. Very disappointed.

It ‘s worked, but the engine does not smooth as the stock one.
