- Function: Mass air flow sensor is fitted between the air filter and throttle body. It is used to measure the amount of air drawn into the engine. The signal produced by air mass sensor will be sent to ECU which determines the correct amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine according best proportion between fuel and air
- Tips: After the flame is turned off during installation, the negative wire of the car battery needs to be dislodged to ensure that the circuit is powered off before installation to avoid failure or failure code. I can’t tell you how it performed because I purchased the wrong one. I looked at the year and I swore it was 2011 but it was not. Looking back I should have looked a little closer. I can’t say that it was packaged very well. It looked like it was all there and if I had to install it it would have been an easy install at least. It is a good value for the amount that they’re charging for it especially when the whole assembly comes with it. It looks like it’s just a plug and play. It also looks like it’s a quality product.
