Stopped my misfire

Decent value, works great.

Good price, works like it should and if you have to replace #3 on a nissan 4.0 the intake has to come off. So the install can vary from 2 mins to over an hour depending on which cylinder.

My Xterra started to run a little rough and after pulling the codes I found there was a misfire. I had replaced my coils several years ago so I was familiar with the process. After reading some forums online I was able to guess which coil needed to be replaced. Put a new spark plug in while I was at it. This is a pretty easy fix. Basically just pull it off the spark plug and then unclip it. You then clip on the new one and push it down around the spark plug. The part was much more affordable through amazon than OEM at the deal or another aftermarket at one of the big auto parts stores. I replaced this several months ago and have had zero issues. I purchased an extra one to keep on hand just in case I have this issue in the future.

This is the second one I purchased for my 2011 Nissan Frontier, it replaced one I bought locally, but cost about a third of the local price.

Seems to work as it’s intended. Has solved the misfire, and the installation itself is straightforward.

Only thing was the holes for the bolts were thicker and I had to get new bolts that were longer to hold them down in the motor
