Actually for me it was perfect. Car started running rough and check engine light came on. I took it to a auto parts store to be diagnozed – number one cylinder was not getting a spark. I changed the plugs first but did not help but was time anyway. First I installed the new coil on what I thought would be the front of the engine on the left side – but didn’t help. So swapped for the first cylinder on the right and now runs like a charm. Had to disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes which reset the check engine light.

I decided to venture down the route of installking coil on plugs to my car I have been building for just a little less than a year. I swapped a 2JZ-GTE VVTi into my Is300. I purchased these to do a COP setup. Tonight the car put down 572WHP, and 548 lb-ft. If I am using these to run more than average horse power, these should work excellent for your stock vehicles

I was having intermittent “ignition” issues causing some “jerking” during acceleration. Seems to be a common problem with this Toyota engine. Granted, there could be other issues but this is a great place to start and easy to change, and fairly inexpensive fix if these type of issues are occurring on your engine. Changed the coil packs and the problem cleared right up, there was no visible issue with the old coil packs.

Easy fix for a misfiring cylinder once diagnosed properly. Fits perfectly and easy to install. Thankful these companies support these older cars!

I have bought other ignition coil from different seller, didn’t work but this one works perfect, save money too

I installed it and it was fine. Two weeks later it died. I’m an engineer, I know things can go wrong, that’s why you have warranty. And because is an easy to replace item I gave it 2 stars. Otherwise, working twice is no fun.

Asked different auto stores and couldnt find it less than $50 for 1. It worked perfectly and now my car runs great. No more misfiring.

Unfortunately I did not save the packaging or else I would have returned this item. I installed it and the following day drove it and got the same check engine light code for cylinder one. So I swapped the new coil for cylinder 2 and now I would get the fault for cylinder 2 confirming that the new coil is in fact bad.
