Over the last twenty years I’ve bought, owned, collected older Porsches and Mercedes. Typically 10 to 20 years old. Learned a lot about the absolute importance of preventive maintenance.
Now have both a 2009 Cayenne and a 2014 BMW 550i. I’ve had no issues on the 550i after 25k miles using Mann filters along with Castrol Edge Euro spec oil.

My son’s old 2004 Porsche Cayenne was throwing off “Low Oil Pressure” warnings about 1000 miles after an oil change. I read that poor quality filters can cause this. I had taken it to one of those quick lube shops….
I went back and changed the oil again and had them install this filter instead of what they normally use. It’s been two weeks and no more warnings. Problem solved.

This does not fit 2018 Volkswagen Atlas V6.
I purchased this after getting online tips at VWVortex (Atlas forum). Well it turns out this one does not fit. I didn’t return mine( even though unused) as it was getting a little dirty from the shop.
Hopefully my comments here will help someone else in the same shoes.
for Atlas V6, you need this one instead –> Volkswagen 03H 115 562, Engine Oil Filter

Was a perfect fit for my 2009 6 cylinder Porsche Cayenne. I use Mann for my 911 and my Cayenne and would use nothing else.
