The only brand I use for my VW Passat. Great quality for the DIY’ers like me. Why pay $100 at a dealer. Just watch YouTube videos to learn how to R&R.

Installed the Mann Filter C 43 102 Air Filter in my Jetta SportWagen and it fit perfectly. No issues at all — same performance as the original. Easy install, solid quality, and a reliable replacement. Would definitely buy again.

good quality.

Perfect OEM filter for the VW 2.5 L 5 cylinder engine. The air pathway on the car is completely stupid, but until I buy components to make my own replacement cold-air intake, this is a great replacement filter for the OEM air filtration pathway.

The description says it doesn’t fit a 2013 VW Jetta 2.5. I checked with the part number online and it definitely fits. Installed in 15 minutes.

Much better fit than the Fram alternative and only cost about $3 more, well worth the extra couple of dollars and still way cheaper than buying from a local parts store or dealer. I also immediately noticed an improvement in power on acceleration after replacing the Fram with this one, now granted, the Fram was dirty after 2 years of use and 25K miles but not so dirty it should have caused the hesitation I was having and I’ve had the hesitation on acceleration problem for longer than I can remember. Either way I am now only buying Mann Filters for my 2008 VW Jetta 2.5, I switched to their oil filter a few changes ago as well and it fit in the canister much better than the K&N did.

Fit my 2012, 2.5 liter Golf just fine. Car seems peppier & happier so far. I had to watch the Youtube videos on how to change the filter, as I had no idea it would be hidden in the engine cover (what an odd spot!). First time I tried to remove the engine cover, I cut my fingers pretty badly, as the edges are rough (I bet they make things this way to prevent do-it-yourself folks!). So this time around, I wore gloves (and put some grease on the engine cover grommets to make the cover easier to get off in the future). I am thrilled I only payed $11 for this filter, as I’m sure the dealer charges a ton more. The original factory filter & this new one both say “Made in Mexico” and the quality looks the same, not to mention they are the same brand. Only main difference is the original has the German car logos on it, this one doesn’t.
I was actually thinking of buying a K&N filter at first, as I’ve always been a K&N gal. I am obsessed with the look, smell, and design of K&N, not to mention that nifty, racy sticker you get to display with pride on your window (just kidding)! But after reading a lot of VW owner reviews on K&N, I saw that some owners had check engine light issues after using them (which may be related to too much crap making its way through the filter, since it is high-flow). I therefore decided to keep things simple & stick to stock, so instead of the $49 K&N, I bought the Mann filter for my car. I will update this if I have any issues! All good so far; a pain to install for a 1st timer like me, but I rather learn to do things myself than pay the dealership!

Seems a bit thicker than the filter that came in the care, but it fit nicely. Everything seems to work fine!

While VW likes to make simple things difficult, like changing an air filter, this element went right in and fit better than the FRAM it replaced. Great value for the money.
