   I bought this for a 2005 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Although the product seemed of good quality and despite Amazon’s fitment tool claiming that this fits my car, it did not. The bearing plate at the top was not aligned during assembly. The result was that the bearing plate was more than 90 degrees off where it should have been. Thus it wouldn’t fit in my car. I bought both the left and right side strut assemblies but both had the same issue. I also tried test fitting them on both sides but neither sides matched up. If the bearing plate were in the correct position, these would have been good replacement parts since Mando is OE supplier for Hyundai as far as I have researched. I had also sent these back and asked for replacement but they had the issue of the bearing plate being off. One could compress the spring and reposition the bearing plate but that would defeat the purpose of buying a complete assembly. I didn’t want to mess with compressing the spring. I ultimately returned the struts.
