Drippy to apply, but it lives up to the hype about being a superior “back-to-black” renewal product. I have used other big-name brands and their duration is very short, compared the this stuff. I use a sponge paint brush and am carful to get an even application. If I want more gloss, I CAN let is dry thoroughly and re-apply. Will buy it again.

I used this a month ago and it still looks like New even in the Los Angeles Sun

I tried this Nu Plastic restorer based on YouTube reviews which I am generally skeptical of. It has exceeded my expectations and has far surpassed very other product I have used for plastic car trim. This is a second order as I have almost used all of the the original purchase. I used it on a pickup truck that has a lot of plastic trim that was beginning to show signs of weathering. It restored it to its original dark black color with an appealing sheen and was not overly glossy. It is easy to apply and provides an even appearance with no streaking. It was still providing good coverage when I reapplied it a year later. I now use it on all black plastic, including my RV propane tank cover that was heavily weathered with amazing results. I think its a great product.

After years of using different (but same) products I figured I’d give it a go.
Unlike everything else I’ve tried, this stuff actually works.
Importantly, it doesn’t bleed or wash off and it doesn’t attract dust when dried.
Depending on the surface and exposure, you may require more than one coat, some areas on my Nissan took 3 coats. Thankfully, this stuff builds, and each coat gets progressively easier and uses less product. Once you’re finally there, you’re there – for months! Fantastic product, don’t let the price chase you away, it’s worth every dime.
You could easily spend this much on regular, so-called ‘magic’ formulas in a year and be doing nothing but waste hours of your time for a temporary (at best) fix.
In Florida heat and sun, I’m approaching the 4 month mark without touching it and it still looks great… compare that to nearly weekly applications of other junk and do the math. Comparatively, this stuff is an absolute bargain!

Finally. After years of using all the others on the market, I tried this one.. Got a 2000 Jeep GC loaded with gray cladding. Everything I ever used would streak with the first rain. Not this stuff. I used it one time and it had been through numerous rain storms and it looks as good as the day I did it. Easy to apply and it don’t take a lot. Super product!!

This seemed like an upper end product and I was hoping for results similar to the Gtechniq C4 product I have used in the past. Unfortunately the results were quite underwhelming and no better than what can be achieved with an average off the shelf restorer from my local auto parts store at a fraction of the cost.

“ScottHD” did a 20-something month longevity test on YT and this stuff won. Our cars are garaged so we’re hoping for even longer. We used foam brushes to apply and did 2 SUVs… I think we used about an ounce and a half! This stuff goes very far. The bottle is practically still full. It’s also held well in the foam brushes without dripping. So it was easy to cut the trim without getting it on paint/etc. We found it took graying rubber and restored it to dark black after 2 applications and letting it cure overnight. On vinyl trim it was a single coat application. There was some trim starting to show striping. On that we massaged it in using a microfiber and small circular motion, the striping was gone. If you leave it on wet and let it cure overnight, the finish will be glossy. It is good to LIGHTLY go over it with a lint free microfiber to level it if you happen lay on too much. But in general it’s very forgiving. The gloss level can be easily knocked down with microfiber to tune the finish to desired gloss level or if matte is preferred. Awesome stuff!! 5 star.
