Had intermittent failure to start. When I searched I learned to watch the a/t light and sure enough, when it didn’t light the car wouldn’t start. Fuel pump wasn’t priming in this instance as well.
Plugged this Beaty in and problem hasn’t come up for a month.

We had seen a few instances where our 1999 Honda Accord coupe would just shut off in the worst places. So a search of Google showed a few guys that had experienced the same failure and how they fixed the problem. A replacement main relay and ignition switch for a total of under $57 and an hour of my time the car has been rock solid. Just watch a video or two and get out a few common hand tools and save yourself a lot of money that a dealer would charge you.
I did tear the old ignition switch apart and you could see the wear and arcing and sparking it had endured.

Instant Success !!!!!!! I was expecting a +/-$500 charge from Honda, I reviewed options on YouTube and learned about the problematic Fuel Pump Relay for these models of Honda/Acura. The sudden no start or erratic start led to the conclusion that this relay was most likely the culprit. It was difficult to find the part in the first place, then it was a MAJOR TUG O WAR to get it out of the small space beneath the steering column. The next and final step was VERY HARD, Unplugging the bad unit from the wire harness, tight as a tick, very close fitting, but with careful prying succeeded in unplugging and with this amazingly accurate replacement part made by the company that makes better than original OEM parts for the Aircraft and Aerospace industry. 5 Stars for their great products. They saved me $450.00. WOW!
