Use to install wideband in some headers, worked great. Lip is great to help hold bung in place prior to welding. Leave plug in or old sensor when welding to protect the threads

I used this to fix a wrong threaded bung on aftermarket eBay cat pipe. I ground the step off, and ground the existing bung down on the exhaust after drilling the threads out. Welded this stainless bung over the old one and can now install the OEM sensor. Welds easy and clean, I used a titanium easy flux welder.

This would be a great product if you were to remove your catalytic converter and put this in the test pipe to screw the downstream O2 sensor into so the check engine light would not come on on specific vehicles, but I would not recommend doing that as it would be illegal

Pretty solid pieces and great that they come with the plugs. Makes welding and painting easy by keeping the threads clean.

works ok. purchased copper gaskets to seal plug to bung.

Seems to be well made not much of a process to make it so not much of a chance screw it up. Just wish I could get them in common carbon steel wool they are stainless steel and takes a different process to weld to common carbon steel.
