I’ve used Lube Locker gaskets for differentials many times, this is the first time I’ve used one on a transmission. It was a precise fit, easy to install and doesn’t leak.

Great product and installs easily. Anytime I’m able to just clean a surface and use a gasket it pleases me. This went on nicely and fit perfectly, not under or oversized. I was also able to feel confident torquing everything to spec and not worrying about having to come back later to tighten the pan again. Great product and I will buy it again.

Bought this for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with 42RLE transmission. I did a transmission service; filter and fluid.

This Lubelocker gasket fits perfectly. Hardest part of the job was getting the old RTV off of the transmission pan. I used the wire wheel on my bench grinder. Luckily the factory RTV didn’t stick to the machined aluminum surface of the transmission, so there was virtually no cleanup.

I’ve been a shade tree mechanic for 35 years or so now. I like to save money if possible, but this was so worth it; 26 bucks versus 8 bucks for a tube of RTV.. No fussing with messy RTV. I installed it to factory torque specs. No leaks yet.

My only issue was the torque sequence chart on the package is a mirror image of what you are looking at from below the vehicle. Weird. You’ll see what I mean if you buy this. Regardless, I highly recommend this product. It works as advertised.

Easy to install without the fuss and mess of RTVs. I have the same type of gasket for the valve cover and it is holding up well after 4 years and still going strong.

Easy to install one bottom pan is off, did add a little gasket silicone to keep it on place on the transmission pan. Once tightened it sealed of real good and most important No Leaks. It even came with a sticker from Lubelocker.

Factory pan started leaking which has no gasket just sealer. This gasket goes on dry with no need for gasket maker, Fast clean install with no leaks AWESOME!!!

Wow I love this gasket. I was looking for a regular transmission pan gasket as I was planning to do a transmission fluid flush and Amazon suggested this Lube Locker gasket instead of the regular paper gasket. After a few minutes of reading the positive reviews from Amazon and on the other Jeep forums, I make the trigger to purchase this gasket. I want to make sure I don’t have any issue with the oil leak after the transmission flush since the steps to remove the transmission oil pan is very involved.

The Lube Locker gasket arrived packaged in a large and sturdy double sided cardboard box which was label as “Do Not Bend” knowing any bent gasket is a bad gasket. Yet the idiot USPS bent the box!! Luckily the gasket was still in a good shape which validated the sturdy packaging from Lube Locker.

The installation of the gasket was painless. The extra rubber sealant on the Lube Locker gasket made it stiffer than the cheap paper gasket and it made it easy to keep the gasket in place. I went for extra security by putting very light dab of rtv sealant on the corners and sharp bends to ensure the gasket stays in place during the installation. It was probably not need but it didn’t hurt. After tighten down the fasteners and filling up with transmission fluid, there was NO leak. Yeah. This is by far the best gasket I used in the last 20 years of DIY mechanic.

Should have used this from the start . Originally used the rubber gasket that came with the filter. It only lasted 750 miles before a drip started . This did the job and has held up for 1,000 miles now no issues . Save yourself headache; spend a little more and order this with your transmission filter and fluid.
