- The factory oil pickup tube on LS engines is only secured by one bolt. This can potentially lead to a poor seal on the oil pump. Our Billet aluminum Oil pump girdle solves the issue by placing a clamp on both sides of the tube, securely holding it in place.
- DOES NOT fit any LS oil pickup tube with welded flanges (GM # 12608593, Holley 302-1 and similar tubes). DOES NOT fit pickup tubes with two screw holes on their flange (Holley 302-2 tube and similar tubes).

Seems to be great quality. Fit my 6.0 vortec (LQ4) from a 2006 Yukon Denali. Was able to put on while replacing the oil pan, without removing timing cover. Needed a short 10mm socket with a wobble extension to get to one of the bolt heads.

If you have the single attachment style on your pick up tube you it will require some modification. Not a big deal. Dremel works great. Fit was right on and tube is extra secure now. I recommend.

The concept is great, I was gonna add this to my pickup while replacing the o ring, but impossible without removing the timing cover as well(Even if you get it started, you can’t get a tool on it to tighten it), but I’ll hold it maybe one day I’ll use it on my one of my builds…

Fit my LS3 stock pickup tube without issue and mates to the pump housing flush. I’d recommend some blue Loctite just to be safe.
