UPDATE 4/17/23- AFTER INSTALLING, WE WERE ON THE ROAD FOR LESS THAN TWO DAYS AND THIS SENSOR FAILED! A few years ago, I replaced the original with another Freightliner sensor, and it failed after serving a decent length of time, measured in years, not days. AVOID THIS PRODUCT, IT’S GARBAGE!
The original part has an O ring seal, this one does not. I used teflon tape due to not having a new O ring to install. In looking at other brands, none have the ring seal, but some do have sealant applied to the threads.

I have a 1994 American Eagle motorhome, 8.3 Cummins 6CTA, Spartan chassis. This low coolant level sensor was harder to find by part number than it was but matched what it looked on on Amazon by photos only. It fits and works perfectly. Not the way I like to buy parts, but in this case, it only operates a Low Water light. it’s either on or off.

I bought 3 of them and replace them, all 3 were leaking and I had stranded truck with coolant leak due to smaller tread, this looks same however treads are a bit smaller and it’s not possible to tighten the sensor, it starts to strip treads which now will cost me 3 new coolant tanks.
