One issue. No divit for the ball on the the ratchet to seat into. The socket comes off the ratchet very easily. I used my drumel and a small grinding bit and made a divit for the ratchets ball. Holds really well now.
I have a 2013 CJAA Tdi and this tool is awesome for replacing a bad egt sensor in the exhaust system.
I saved a small fortune not having to get it done at a dealer or even an independent garage.
Made the job easy like changing spark plugs on a V8.
The tool is very well made as I’ve come to expect from Lisle. I will have this and use it for years to come.

Great build quality.

this is a burly flare nut socket. Unfortunately it was too burly to fit the nut on the Bosch Injectors on my 2010 VW Touareg TDI CATA Diesel. It is also a little long at 3.7″. I ended up getting https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXSSNYT4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Which works well. I’ll keep the Lisle tool since I may find other application where it is good.

It always makes the job go smoother when using quality specialty tools that are made for the work at hand.

17mm socket. Great quality, but not compatible with VW 3.0 tdi cnrb engine. Sidewall of the socket is too thick and doesn’t fit the injector’s nut. Sadly have to return.
