This is a simple on off switch that can handle the high current of a vehicle or storage battery up to 275 amps. The switch is well made. There are good positive feel detents for the on and off position.
This is a great way to isolate a battery in a vehicle when not in use to keep the battery from draining. Also good for boats, power sheds, RVs, trucks……
I tested switching while there was a high current draw, which you really should not be doing, just to see how it would handle it and the switch held up well.
The switch is rated up to 48 volts.
