This set of wires was plenty long enough to do both sides on single axle trailer, and tandem axle. The 4 wire set had both sides of the connection. Vehicle side and trailer. Follow the standard wiring schematic and bada-bing! You’re done in an hour.

This is a perfectly good trailer wiring kit, not including lights obviously, but it is not an extension cable. Fortunately it looks like I will need this too, but the photos and wording imply it’s an extension which it is not.
