These work, they plug the sockets in my string lights. Another brand did not and had to be returned. These are still not *quite* the shape of a light bulb base, they’re a bit shorter and only engaged some of the sockets by about 1/4 turn. They’re also excessively packaged, with lots of little bubble wrap pouches to protect them, even though they’re just plastic.

Was looking for socket plugs to use on year round, outdoor light string. We have three sets of FEIT outdoor LEDs from Costco. They have deep set sockets so that when you screw the bulb in, it creates a water seal against the rubber edges of the socket. I tried a few different socket plugs from Amazon and most were too short – the threading on the plug wouldn’t engage the socket threading. This set solves this by being deep enough to engage the socket threading.
