I definitely recommend this as a replacement for a rear 06 Sequoia latch. It was a little tricky to snap into the bracket, but taking a screwdriver and lightly tapping it in the place, worked great.

It works but you have to really pull on the door in order to engage the latch I did notice the original had a spacer on one end that this does not have I haven’t taken the door apart again to fix the spacer issue but I think a big enough fishing weight would do the trick

This part is not the exact same as the original and does not work. I went through all the work to get it on just to have it not work. spend the extra money and buy the original.

Cable was to long. Purchased for sequoia rear hatch door on older 1st generation model. Spent a lot of time working on getting it to open after purchasing it used. Got it to start opening, purchased a new cable, and pretty much, back to having the same issue.rear hatch door won’t open again…
