Someone Else –
This made is so easy to add power to some LED under glow lights we were installing. You simply remove a mini fuse from your panel, insert it in the back of this adapter, and then plug the adapter in the place that you took the fuse out of. The wire tail is ready to crimp to whatever you need powered. This will be your power feed, and then you just have to take your other wire and ground it really well to complete the circuit. If the fuse panel is switched to go on and off with your key, then this accessory adapter will be as well. So easy! If you found this review useful to you, mark it as helpful below.

Works as advertised. Make sure to hook up to any 10 amp fuse and put the oem fuse in the first slot closest to the connector to the fuse box. Simple and worked!

So I bought this along with the 4 piece interior lighting kit. One of the things they don’t mention is if you plan to tap into your fuse box in your engine bay you’re going to have to route a wire (not included btw) through your vehicle firewall. That was literally the most pain in the butt thing I’ve ever had to do it took me 4 days to get this and the lighting kit installed it was such a hassle. Today I noticed my horn stopped working along with the lighting kit and I just so happened to tap into my horn circuit in my fuse box and so I pulled the circuit expander and the 4–amp fuse that was sold with this product and wouldn’t you know it it was fouled. The normal 10 amp fuse powering my horn wasn’t fouled so that only leads me to the conclusion that this little 4-amp fuse they give you is absolute trash. It didn’t even last 2 weeks. Otherwise, I’m happy.

Overall the product is pretty good, some more directions on how to use the product, and what can and cannot be done with it would be nice. For instance can I plug the circuit into a 30 amp fuse spot and then use the provided fuse with the 30 amp or can I only plug in to a spot where 10 amp should go

Fast and easy way to get power. Just remove a fuse, insert the fuse you just removed into the expandable circuit with its 4 amp fuse and plug it all back into the empty fuse slot. No trying to find a power wire you can splice into or trying to contort your body to work under the dash. Very cool idea and it works.

I bought this side by side my led kit. It wasn’t until I went to install it that I discovered Kia uses micro fuses. I didn’t even know that was a thing. Oh well, sucks for me. I hung onto it in case I needed it for something my other car, which does not use the micro fuses. I wonder if there is a micro -> normal fuse adapter I could find that would let me use this.

A note to all buyers: don’t trust Amazon Garage; always check your owner’s manual and/or the fuse box to see what kind of fuses you have. It never occurred to me that there are different standard fuse sizes, so when I purchased this I was disappointed (in myself) that I couldn’t use it and that I had to order a new one. In my case, my 2006 Nissan Frontier uses the low-profile mini (ATM) fuses.
