I order dark brown shoes paint and i ended up getting black… i would normally not have an issue with the wrong item being sent, but in this case, i didnt check the color of the paint to make sure it was the correct color paint and i painted my brown boots black, it took me a split second to realize the color was black but by that time it was too late… the boots were already damage, i will have to take my $300 dollar boots to professional and get it repaired or worse dyed black.
aside form that the paint was really good and for me that was a bad thing but for those who get the right item, then the paint is great.

I ordered this in BLACK and received Dark Brown. I was disappointed with the error as I have FAR more uses for a black restorer than brown, but I did at least have a brown belt and pair of shoes to try it on.
I was familiar with this brand prior to ordering it and knew their products enjoy a good reputation.
Both the belt and shoes had some scuff marks and the cheap liquid dyes sold in big box stores only offered a temporary fix at best. The directions are easy: clean the damaged leather, rub the restorer in with a cloth using circular motions, dry with a hair dryer in between coats and let cure for a day after desired color goal is reached.
After letting the product cure, I wiped the restored areas with a white cloth to see if there was any color transfer…there was not. Good to know before putting the belt on with a a pair of dress slacks,
So far the repaired areas have help up well and I’m happy with the results. You would have to get a lot closer to my belt or shoes than anyone is going to get to pick out the restored areas.

So I order the black color, but received dark brown. I noticed the bottle is marked on the label with an X in the dark brown box, and indeed the color of the dye is dark brown. The issue is the outer wrap to keep the bottle sealed has another label and it incorrectly has black on the label and barcode.
Simply put, some of these are wrapped ans labeled wrong so you will get the incorrect color, at lest for black.
I ordered a second one and the same issue.
I contacted leather masters directly and they were great, and got me the correct black.
Hopefully they fixed this issue for everyone after me.
All that said, I haven’t tested it yet.
Ive used Colour Lock previously and have not been impressed.
Ill write back if this stuff is better.
I love LM leather cleaners and conditioners.

My black leather footrest was badly scratched and needed some attention.
I tried to follow the directions on the bottle of the Leather Master Leather Restorer, but I do not own a hairdryer, so I had to blow on it and let it air dry for a while before applying the next coat. Altogether, I applied four coats of the Leather Master leather repair product, and the final results were a bit underwhelming. This product did fill in some areas of the scratches with the black color, but the scratches were still very noticeable. After this leather restorer dried, I noticed some of the shine coming off my existing leather. Gently rubbing this product created a dull or matte finish on the leather. This footrest has been used for nearly 20 years and never lost its luster, but this leather cleaner seemed to remove the glossiness from the leather.
In the end, all was not lost. Using a name-brand automotive leather conditioner, I was able to restore the leather back to its original glossy shine.
This Leather Master Leather Restorer helped a little bit. The scratches are still visible, though they are darker now, so they are slightly less noticeable.
Also, the footrest looks a lot better from a distance.
I recommend using this Leather Master Leather Restorer as directed. But 24 hours after drying the final coat, use a good leather conditioner to add the luster back to the leather. The end result, in my experience, is a visible improvement but not a complete leather correction.

We inherited a sofa that had been professionally reconditioned in the past. It was showing a lot of wear and cracks in the finish. The cracks were not deep, but the light brown leather was showing through the dark red finish. Two coats of Leather Master (one day apart, no hair dryer) nearly eliminated the visible cracks. Don’t pay attention to the color difference in the photos; that’s just a difference in lighting and the phone’s auto balance. The sofa was left with a matte finish, so this is not a conditioner, but a treatment with Leather CPR a day later had the sofa looking almost like new. This is a great product to DIY rescue an older piece of furniture.

This bottle showed the color to be tan. There was plastic wrap around the bottle with another label that said dark brown. I bought 2 and opened the first one. I thought it looked more orangy red but applied to the seat. I think the product might be good, but I now have to wait for the correct color. If you order this, look to see which color box on the bottle is checked. The outer label may not say the correct color.
