I’ve been ordering Lake Country pads for all of my detailing projects. They do a great job holding compound, polish, sealant, wax, and other product. I just did a two stage paint correction on my daily driver and was able to do the entire vehicle using one pad of each stage (Orange for compound, blue for polish, and black for sealant.)

Needed pads because my old orange pads were falling apart.
Detailed my car with these a few months ago. Used the orange foam pad to polish w/ some Meguiar’s polish, and then used the black foam pad to apply sealant. Blew out the pad between panels. Made my life easy and they worked a charm.
Easy to clean with microfiber and pad cleaner too. Would buy again next time I am in need.

My 1966 Mustang hadn’t been driven for over 2 years and last waxed over 5 years ago. I went cheap and bought Harbor Freight pads and polisher. The pad built up heat, didn’t stick to the backing pad and started to break down after just an hour. Worse I wasn’t getting any results….After some research I read that the pads are key to getting a good result.
Lake Country pads really performed. They stayed super cool (even though the cheap HF polisher got hot) Adhered really well to backing pad. I couldn’t be more pleased. Now my metallic flake really pops!

Works for mild paint imprafactions, plus it has the trendy new hole in the middle, you know “that hot-spot…” Over all they are a good valve, just do not over work them, change and clean often.

These polishing pads work well at a great price. I purchased these pads to restore headlights so that I could have devoted pads for this purpose only. I have put together a restoration kit for this purpose which saves time from searching for the needed items to perform this service.
