The pros were that this was at the best price I could find and the struts do seem to be legitimate (not fakes/counterfeits as far as I can tell).
The cons were that both packages (I bought 2 as you are supposed to replace these in pairs), were damaged. One package had a huge gaping hole in it that had just been taped over, and in that package the strut was missing the manufacturer supplied hardware. I know it was supposed to have it because the 2nd one had these.
Whomever Amazon is using to supply these is not supplying products that have been well cared for (maybe they are open box or returns that cannot be sold as “new”) and that might explain the good price. However, Amazon should know that and should not be listing these as new.

Worked perfectly on my 2014 Chevy traverse. KYB was recommended by my mechanic as the only strut that wont make noise on that vehicle. Installed them myself

Work great easy to install only took about an hour and a half to remove and install both sides. Make sure to take it to get an alignment afterwards.
