I believe the manufacturer. They say it restores your vehicle to its original handling. Previously I bought a pair of struts (cheaper) and one failed. So, I thought I would spend more and be safe. Well worth the money. Of course, Time will tell, but for now I am happy. Two person job if you do it yourself..
