Sack Peterson –
These are cheapie brand bearings, and you get some cautionary tales from wise old heads about using cheapie bearings. Well they have worked fine on my driver car. One thing is, if you’re putting bearings in you may have a crusty backing plate that’s dropping crud into your bearing. Helpful hint: replace that too if it’s crusty and you find you are replacing bearings.

This common failure point on 2010-2014 Subaru Outbacks is relatively easy to install. This unit is aftermarket but feels solid and rolls nicely. Even if it lasts only a year, it is a cheap solution to a common problem on these cars.

Lasted just less than 2 years – probably 50k..bought another set just to kick the can down the road a bit. Who knows how long everything else will last?!

2012 Subaru Outback. The install isn’t fun but that’s not a product issue, they are identical to the OEM’s I removed. Finger’s crossed these will make it the same 135K miles the originals did.
