I use this product in my camper van for various applications when I need to use something outside my van that requires 12volts such as my tire pump, fan, portable tv and so forth. I just plug it into either my rear or side door 12v port and run it outside to the device I’m currently using.

I bought this extension cord for my sister. She will check her tire pressure before she leaves home and once again when she is leaving the campground. With this cord she does not have to dis-connect the RV from the hitch She just plugs into the cigarette plug and the 26 foot cord takes her to the tires needing more pressure. Works like a charm.

One of those things you don’t use that often – the price made it worth buying. At 26 feet it stretches from the car to the campsite or from car to the boat boat trailer tires at the storage facility. Probably find more uses as time goes on. Got the 14 AWG for longevity – looks well made – I’m happy with it.

I primarily got this extension for my travel trailer. My
existing portable tire air compressor’s cord can not reach my travel trailers tires.
I’m a firm believer of ” plugs” to temporarily fix a flat and this extension will inable me to air the tire via my truck or the DC outlet in my trailer. I already have used this extension in my driveway to top off the air pressure in my travel trailer. It worked as designed and I was baffled on how little money I paid for something of this quality. I on purchase date also got the extra fuses so I don’t have that nightmare using aluminum foil.
