Wheel Spacers for Toyota, KSP Forged 4Pcs 1.5″ 6×5.5 to 6×5.5 Thread Pitch 12×1.5 Hub Bore 106mm 6 Lug 38mm Hub Centric Wheel Adapters for 4-Runner Tacoma Tundra FJ Cruiser Sequoia, 2 Years Warranty

Up front: The spacers, as shipped, won’t work on a gen 2 Tacoma (2005-2015). I’d venture to guess gen 1s and 3s would probably have the same issue as well. The hub’s lug bolts don’t even get close to protrusion (barely make it halfway through the nut) with the included nuts. I’m trying to find a workaround (maybe extended thread nuts or longer studs) and will update this review with the seller’s response and again if I’m able to successfully install these.

Ordered these spacers for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma (2wd PreRunner with 6-lug rims). The item description indicates that these spacers will fit and, for the most part, they do. The hub bore is perfect (no play on the hub but still slip on with ease), lug bolts center up, and the bolts on the spacer are the same size as the hub (M12x1.5) so the factory lug nuts will screw on to the spacers.

The problem: There is absolutely no thread protrusion from the hub’s lug bolt with the spacer kit’s lug nut. Not even close (see photo). I ensured the spacer was seated flush against the hub and the lugs were centered in the spacer’s holes (so the lug bolts would fully seat in the tapered holes on the spacer) but after tightening them as much as possible (with the hub still spinning freely, so maybe torqued to 25-30 ft-lb) the end of the bolt was roughly halfway through the lug nut. I didn’t torque them all the way to 80 ft-lb but there was no way I was going to get even 1 more full rotation, which was certainly still not enough to get adequate thread protrusion.

The instructions in the package say that lugs to attach the spacer to the hub are not included and call for open-end conical seat lug nuts of the appropriate diameter/pitch to match the hub’s stud. The package does include M12x1.5 open-end conical seat lugs (which are, in fact, exactly what the instructions say are needed to mount the spacer to my vehicle i.e. correct size). Also, these nuts would not work with the factory wheels as they do not use a conical seat. Furthermore, the included instructions conflict with the mounting diagram in the item’s listing (see attached). One says that the included lug nuts are for mounting the spacer to the hub, the other says they are for mounting the wheel to the spacer.

Since the included lugs matched what the instructions say are needed to mount the spacer, I used them to attach the spacer to the hub. Obviously they won’t work and now I’m a little concerned about finding one that will. These nuts are already shorter than anything else I’ve found. Their slightly less than .80″ tall and most of the replacements I’ve found are just over .8″ at best. Seems like extended lug bolts for the hub are the only confidence inspiring solution given the circumstances. Hopefully KSP responds with a solution soon.

Update: Ordered some extended thread nuts (http://amzn.com/B01N03AQIU) for $32 to hopefully solve the problem. I got roughly 6 full rotations out of the included lug nuts. The new nuts have a 0.3″ (7.6mm) shank that extends below the taper and into the holes for the wheel studs. The extension should add enough threads to ensure at least 9+ full rotations which would achieve the recommended 12.5mm of thread engagement on the wheel stud even though the stud doesn’t protrude through the nut. I measured the space between the bottom of the included acorn style nut to the back of the spacer (roughly .4″) and the diameter of the bottom of the hole (roughly .65″) to ensure the new nuts would fit in the spacer and not bottom out on the hub before being fully tightened, so these should work. It would have been nice to know I was going to have to spend and extra $32 to make these spacers work. The ad is a bit deceiving.

These spacers are great. Quality isn’t too bad. So have I have these 1.25 spacers set up on GX470 Method 703 0 offset. It gave the GX470 the fitment, offset and poke I needed. Now, I don’t crazy rock crawling with these spacers. However, I did take it on a mild off-road trail and did post trip inspection and retorque your spacer lug nut. Over all it held up pretty well since I’ve been driving city and highway. The price is budget friendly and it looks great once installed. Always retorque your wheel spacers and always have a spare spacer lug nuts around so you don’t screw yourself over. Hope the images I uploaded helps. Remember Toyota/Lexus are hub centric. Which means at the end of the axle hub there will be a lip sticking out about 1/8″ to maybe 3/16″.

Ordered the spacers and the tracking said Oct21st as the arrival date. Oct 4th they landed in Ontario Canada, 5 days later they were at my door.

They were exactly what I ordered, the install was very easy and everything was a snug fit. I can’t review on full quality as I just put them on but other reviews say great things.

I did have one issue with a spacer arriving damaged and they resolved the issue quickly and effectively and communicated daily letting me know the process stage they were working on to solve the issue.

    I highly recommend the seller.

  4. They were sent really quick and I dont live in the USA, shipped in like 3 or 4 days. The UCAs seems like good quality but is too soon to tell, make sure you use all the washers they send, otherwise the bushings will come loose.

These are quality for sure. Ran them for a year or so before upgrading wheels and they’re held up great! Loctite and torque and you’re good to go.

Installed these on my 2004 4Runner right after getting a 2” Bilstein lift. Currently running 265’s, but will size up to 275 later. Plenty of YouTube instructional vids that all pretty much align, so the install was no problem as long as you have a nice jack and torque wrench. I cleaned my hubs with a wire drill bit, sprayed them down with brake cleaner, and used anti-seize lubricant. I opted for using blue thread lock over red just in case I need to remove them for some reason. Torqued everything to spec, then re-torqued after 100 miles. Car handles great and looks great too, giving just the right amount of poke on the tires beyond the fenders. I did need to do some minor trimming of the inner front fenders to avoid rub, but it was easily done with a dremel. Also removed the front wheel “mud flaps” for the same reason, won’t miss them I don’t think. Overall very happy with the product, would recommend.

**For anyone owning a tacoma, you must get the size with a lip (hubcentric) so that your wheel can correctly mount. Otherwise you will get vibrations.

Great product. No problems so far. Seems very strong and I haven’t been worried that my wheel is going to fall off. Just make sure you constantly torque it for the first 1000 miles as the lugs are brand new and thus will stretch as they break in.

I bought these for my 2nd gen Tacoma fits perfect. Amazon will tell you the wheel spacers without the lip fits but the one with the lip doesn’t fit, wrong! These are the ones you need especially if you’re running stock wheels so it fits on the lip of the wheel spacer.

So far so good! I’ve put 2k miles on these and just re torqued them. They’re in great shape still, no signs of wear and tear yet. Really helps the profile of my truck. If anything happens will update

The item was sent fast. Bought 2” spacer for a Toyota 4runner 2018, they fit no problem, my only critic as I mentioned on the title is that they did not come with wheel center, so balancing tires its an issue, and Im having some vibration on the highway but have to check furter to discard balancing it self.
