Quick and easy install. Smells a little weird when the AC is going but it goes away after a day or 2. I suggest wearing gloves because the filter is kind of oily. It’s easy to clean. Be sure to buy the cleaning kit with this because there are specific chemicals needed to clean and prep it for reuse.

So this product says that it wouldn’t fit a 2016 Honda civic EX but it fit perfectly. I love the fact that it’s reusable and the cost of these filters every few miles will change. It will save me so much money. The air flow in my car over all has greatly improved. I’d highly recommend the investment. It’s well worth it.

Folks, all the hype is true. Though Turbos will benefit from a K&N, I personally believe a K&N air-cleaner is an absolute MUST for a run-of-the-mill gasoline engine found in most cars today.
First, if you add up the cost of all the air cleaners you will buy/replace in the life of your vehicle (generally during your oil changes) investing in, and installing a K&N re-usable air-cleaner early will eliminate the need to have your air-cleaner replaced for the life of the car. Just check and clean the K&N (using the simple instructions) once a year, and keep right on driving. NEXT, after installation, I noticed my mileage increase 1-2 MPG (on a 4cyl (2.0L non-turbo) Honda Civic) after I drained my first ful tank of gas. So now I am also saving money on fuel costs as well as replacement filter costs. And finally, though small, I definitely noticed a slight increase of horse power under certain situations… like hard acceleration to get around a tractor-trailer on the Interstate. The car just seems a pinch more snappy.
So, up-front, the K&N filter costs about 3x as much as a traditional filter. But over its lifetime, it will save me the cost of having to locate, purchase and install an new traditional air filter every 18 months. It also saves me gas with better mileage, and my car actually gained a small boost in HP. What’s not to love? All you have to do is to remember to inspect and clean is manually once a season. Piece of cake, and a total no-brainer.
I’ve bought one for the last 3 cars I owned, and I cannot recommend them enough.
